This globally recognised version of the NEBOSH International General Certificate is suited for health and safety professionals situated outside the United Kingdom. It does not deal with the UK aspects of Health and Safety law.
The NEBOSH IGC qualification is widely taken as a first step towards a career in health and safety and is accepted by IOSH – the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health – in meeting the academic requirements for Technician Membership of IOSH (Tech IOSH). The qualification is also accepted by the International Institute of Risk and Safety Management (IIRSM) for associate membership.
Delegates that successfully complete IGC can go on to study the NEBOSH National Diploma.
